Side burner equipment tunnel kiln Nelissen , Kesselt -Lanaken (B)

After the successful optimization of the tunnel kilns in 2015, Nelissen Brickworks has given the order to Instalat for new high velocity side burner equipment.

Reason for this project was a high reliability of the Instalat side burners together with low cost of surveillance and maintenance compared to the existing Ceric equipment.

Microwave assisted, gas fired kiln. Danish Technological Institute, Aarhus (DK)

In close cooperation with C-Tech Innovation (UK) and DTI (Danish Technical Institute, DK), Instalat has developed a microwave assisted, gas fired test kiln (MAGF kiln). The research project is funded by DTI and the EUDP (Danish Energy Agency) and aims to show the energy savings and quality advantages possible when using a combination of microwaves and gas firing for the production of bricks in Danish brickworks. The other Project consortium partners are: Aarhus University DK), University of Nottingham (UK) and the well known brick manufacturers: Strøjer Tegl (DK), Pipers Teglværker (DK), Hellisgø Teglværk (DK)

Successful acceptance of new Tunnel kiln at Brickfactory Vande Moortel (B)

After the successful performance test in Oktober 2015 the final acceptance was signed by Vande Moortel and Instalat.

Instalat supplied a tunnel kiln for the production of paving bricks.

The tunnel kiln, equipped with a very sophisticated firing technology and the latest Instalat WinCC controls,  allows Vande Moortel to adjust the firing curve at any time to the requested product specifications.

The main reference product can therefore be produced with a water absorption of less than 2%.

All contractual parameters as energy consumption, product quality and quantities were largely fulfilled.

Brick factory Vande Moortel in Oudenaarde is one of the largest family owned brick factories in Belgium and famous in home markets and abroad for their wide variety of brick shapes and colours.

Modernization of dryer burners at Vandersanden Dilsen (B)

The modernization of the drying process at Vandersanden Dilsen by replacing the dryer burners of 8 chamber dryers was granted to Instalat.

Upgrade for facing brick tunnel kiln. Wienerberger Pedershvile (DK)

In order to enable their client Wienerberger to raise the output quantity and quality, Instalat supplies additional firing equipment and controls for the existing tunnel kiln  in Pedershvile (DK).

Succesful commissioning tunnel kiln Warnham Wienerberger Warnham

In June 2015 the supplied firing equipment and controls for the renewal of the tunnel kiln at Warnham was successfully commissioned.

All contractual parameters as energy consumption, product quality and quantities were largely fulfilled as well as the very tight project schedule was kept.

Energy saving optimization for tunnel kiln Monier Vittinge (SE)

In order to save energy in the tunnel kiln Monier Roofing AB, Sweden has decided to order all necessary equipment for the use of preheated combustion air at Instalat.

Restart of tunnel kiln Wienerberger Zennewijnen (NL)

For the restart and extension of the old Lingl tunnel kiln at Zennewijnen, Wienerberger Netherlands has granted the order for all necessary equipment to Instalat.
After restart, the kiln will be operated with Instalat PLC/PC controls.

Capacity increase tunnel kiln Briqueterie Irdjen , Tizi Ouzou (Algier)

Instalat supplies firing equipment for the capacity increase of a tunnel kiln at Briqueterie Irdjen in Algier.
The production of the tunnel kiln will increase significantly with this investment.
The scope of supply of Instalat is: extended firing groups, fans and electrical switch cabinets and WinCC control for the kiln.
